Famous Monsters of Filmland problem

Has anyone else on here had problems ordering anything from Famous Monsters of Filmland? I ordered 2 hats from them about 2 weeks ago, I paid extra for expedited shipping and handling, they charged my credit card, and my order is still just listed as "processing". I sent them an e-mail since that's the only way they have to contact them through the website and I have yet to get any response from them. None of the items I ordered are listed as back ordered or anything, it just seems like there was a ball drop somewhere along the line. What really sucks is that m family and I are taking a Halloween vacation up north in 2 days and I ordered the hats to wear on the trip since I am desperate need of a new hat (I'm not really a hat person, but it's going to be a bit chilly on the trip) and thanks to their screw up and lack of communication it wont be here in time. Has anyone else had an problems with them in the past or did I just get the luck of a rare mix up? I wouldn't mind so much if they would at least either give me a phone number to call to work it out or respond to my e-mails, but the lack of communication is rubbing salt in the wound!

I'm not sure what time frame they promise these days (if any), but if the present-day Captain Co in anything like the original, 2 weeks is totally unrealistic. More like 2-3 months on average! And about 1 out of 4 times you didn't get anything...!

The policy on their website says items ship within 36 hours of payment processing... so they say.

I ordered some FMOFv3 back issues from them just a couple of months ago. Got the issues just fine, and in a timely manner. Now, this was in August, and they HAD an 800-number for orders back then. It's been removed from the site since then, I see. Not sure what to tell you. If you ordered them just for your trip, then email them before you leave that you want to cancel your order. If I can find the number I called in my order on, I'll PM you.

If you pay with a credit card, they have 3 business days to ship from the time they process the charge to your card.  If they don't, you can process a chargeback, and their merchant account will be in jeopardy if those start stacking up.
