As devoted monster fans, we love to see these classics as they are in b/w. And i wanted to ask if there has ever been any colorized versions of the classics? Also, how much of the original costumes excist today? Is there any costumes from Frankenstein coat ,pants or boots, head piece? Wolfmans wig, gloves or boots, mummy's wrapped costume? To see these classic costumes as they were and seeing them in color would be truely amazing.

This never got answered.

I'd also like to see remnants of original costumes to check on actual colors.  I know we can't rely on hand-colored posters and lobby cards - they often are just artists' interpretations.

And TheWolfman left a couple of months later.

Hate to see members go - OK, most of 'em.  Hope this wasn't the reason he left.

(I'd still like some answers.)

To the first question. Universal has never colorized their horror movies.

No.  Not that.

I'd just like to check original costumes for accurate colors.

Not a monster, but Gloria Stuart (Margaret Waverton) wore a "bias-cut, very pale pink silk-velvet" gown in THE OLD DARK HOUSE....
