 The monster world lost a classic actor back on July 12 1973. The legendary actor and the one and only Wolfman, Mr. Lon Chaney Jr. passed away on this date.

I've still got the clipping of the newspaper article from the Newark Star-Ledger about his passing. I was too young to think about clipping out Karloff's obit, but I remember seeing it on the local newscasts.
