I think Metallica sold out after the Black album.  I don't know why they did it but they did.

Didn't you read the above post Creeper? It was the stale beer, piss, and vomit that drove Metallica to sell their soul.

I think metallica's best records were the first two-or-three but The Black Album and forward was when the band starting going downhill and making awful records in my opinion
