 The TV series THE MUNSTERS lost a memoriable character Herman Munster . Mr. Fred Gwynne who played the part of Herman Munster passed away on July 2 1993
Even a man who is pure in heart,and says his prayers by night,may become a wolf, when the wolfbane blooms, and the moon is full and bright, AAHHOOoooo

Not to mention some of the children books he wrote and drew.

He was charming in everything I saw him in- even Pet Semetary!  I will never forget his smile and laugh he had as Herman Munster........it meant so much to me as a kid and as an adult. What a class act   :)

 Before Fred played the part of Herman Munster, he was in a tv series called CAR 54 WHERE ARE YOU !! It also starred Mr. Al Lewis a.k.a. Grandpa Munster.  Fred & Al played partners as city cops.
