Which of the following Harvey characters could be classified as monsters?

Nightmare the Galloping Ghost

Hmmmm. These Harvey spooks don't seem to engender or elicit too much fear.

   I voted for none.  With the exception of Stumbo these are all old comfortable friends, especially Wendy.  The most frightening thing about Harvey, was Richie Rich and Baby Huey kept being published.

I think of all the Universal Monsters , Hammer hammer monsters, and Slashers as just old friends but there still monsters.lol!

Richie Rich and Little Lotta are the two I absolutely despise. I'm indifferent toward Baby Huey. Most of the rest I really like with my favourites being Herman & Katnip, Buzzy the Crow, Spooky, Hot Stuff and Little Dot.

Somehow, I didn't have a problem listing Stumbo, Hot Stuff, and Spooky as monsters, if a monster is something scary.  Hot Stuff and Spooky enjoyed pulling pranks and scarring people, whereas Stumbo, could be a danger due to the size of the people in the village he hung around, and his being a little clumsy.  Wendy, Casper, and Nightmare were all benign characters.  They absolutely avoided scarring others whenever possible.

Actually, Little Lotta was the one I pictured in my head when I said Baby huey, though I don't like him either.  Wendy, Audrey, Casper, Dot, Bunny, and Hot Stuff are the ones I grew up liking.
