Our new yellow lab pepper just had puppies! I was laying down for a nap this afternoon ( this new anxiety medicine I'm on makes me sleepy ) when I heard a squeak. I walked into the bathroom and there was a  puppy laying on the floor by Pepper.  We can't tell how many she had right now as they're all bunched together and we don't want to bother them. We don't even know if she's done. We are however more than likely going to keep one. Since I offered to pay for shots then I'll have a lot less collectible money in the coming months, though I will have one more paycheck to get what I need before the puppies are old enough for shots. It's worth giving up most of my disposeable income for awhile. The puppies are too cute!

Thanks.

Actually I've never considered myself a parent to my dogs, mainly because they take care of me way more than I do them. I feed them, water them and take them to the vet when they need it. But when the depression gets bad and I'm deep in the pit my dogs always try to comfort me. And today when I stepped on a sharp object out in the yard and fell on my butt Pepper came off the porch, ran up to me and checked to see if I was all right. I'm not rich enough to do for my dogs all they deserve.
