So, I hear alot of UMAniacs dont like Keana's acting, and I would have to agree with them, the scary thing is...Nicholas Cage is a better actor then Keanu..and that's saying alot.  >:D
I like Point Blank, but it also had Patrick Swayze(r.i.p.) and Gary Busey in it...
I think Keana should play more parts like surfers, skateboarders, hackers, stoners, etc.....
Keanu makes a good co-star, but not a lead actor.

if you was to be a gentleman about it, you could say..that you dislike his performance in the movies starting with Dracula.
or that, most of his movies go straight to dvd....that's not really bashing, when it's the truth...ask Van Damme and Seagal...

I'll be a gentleman about it when he's gentleman enough to stop ruining our beloved genre movies with his "talents" (see "Dracula", "The Day The Earth Stood Still",and now the upcoming abortion which he will render in "Jeckyll" ).

I'll just say he sucks, but my pinky finger is extended on my teacup like a gentleman when I say it.

I think he was fine in Bill & Ted... & Permanent Record.  He also did a convincing job in River's Edge (co-starring the very talented Daniel Roebuck).  It's just that he's been around for quite a long time now, and hasn't seemed to improve.  To me, his acting is nearly intolerable to watch.  I have to keep repeating, "It's just a movie...  it's just a movie"...  OK, I'm better now.  Actually, there are a lot of " movie stars " who I feel the same way about, who are all very popular with mainstream America - and I'm talking, huge stars!  Evidently, I just don't see them the way their fans do.  Hey, that's just me!

I would probally agree with you on the actors, some have IT and others have never found IT....

so, who would you say, has never found IT, besides Keanu???

Oh I don't know, how about Paris Hilton or Miley Cyrus for starters.  Will Ferrell is pretty AWFUL.  Also Anna Faris, and John Travoltra.

I think he was perfect in "A Scanner Darkly"-

in fact, everyone was perfect in this flick~

John Travolta?? I beg to differ with you,Bill ....John Travolta is an extremely great actor, yes he has his share of flops like anyone else...
Travolta play's  an excellent Bad Guy in films and he is a good comedic actor as well....

Next, you'll be saying Richard Farnsworth was a bad actor...

I liked Keanu in many movies already mentioned: River's Edge, Point Break, Bill and Ted's, The Matrix. He is who he is and he has a niche. ...he doesn't irritate me like some other actors mentioned: Will Ferrell, Paris Hilton? please, she has no clue about whats going on.

Was he the best choice in Bram Stoker's Dracula? No, Depp would have killed the role. To me, I will always like watching him in River's Edge, Point Break etc...
