Johnny Sheffield RIP

A little off topic for the UMA -- but I figure there are plenty of Tarzan fans here.  Just read that Johnny Sheffield, "Boy" of the Tarzan films-- and star of the "Bomba" series, passed away on the 15th at the age of 79.

Wow...it's always unexpected when you hear that a now grown child actor has passed, especially since (allegedly) Cheetah is still kicking

Johnny was one of those child actors whose movie-character was one that many a kid would gladly have switched places with--a sort of jungle version of Huckleberry Finn--swimming, having pet lion cubs, a chimp for a friend, and a very cool dad and mom.  Rest in peace, Johnny.  You'll always be Boy--and Bomba--to us fans.

Really enjoyed all his films as a kid and watched the whole Tarzan series a couple years ago. Yea you know YOU are getting old when your heyday child stars die of old age.
