While doing research on the Dracula medallion, I discovered this awesome Asian jeweler making these amazing skull rings. Buy it?

Let's just say it's a big-ticket item . . . but worth every dollar IMO considering the crafstmanship.

PM me for more details.

Gillman-Fan.....  I think you should buy.  It is a beautiful piece and you sound itchy.  Do it.

Thanks everyone. Monster Bob that makes sense. I would like to own it but I don't have room for it right now and I can't justify spending 35.00 on something I can't enjoy right now. I was thinking of buying to sell, and I would - if I could make 20.00 on it but with the tear (on the side not the back) and based on your info I doubt it would sell for that much.
To anyone interested around the Mpls. area: it's at the Value Village in Richfield in the front display case.
What a cool concept for a thread, I like it. A group of appraisers you can trust!

Is it this one or very similar? I am by no means an expert on the Don Post stuff. There are at least a few guys here who are. If the tear is in the back straight up the middle that was probably so you could get your head in and wear it. Alot of masks have those. I believe there were a couple or possibly 3 versions of this which was one of the most popular masks at the time. Just make sure there is no to minimal dry rot. For a 33 Y.O Don Post mask I would certainly snatch it up.

THAT is friggin' NIIIICE.

Ok I went back in there today to look for retro halloween, and look closer at the mask. It's a Don Post  Studios 1977 but - it has a bottom tear on the neck fom the bottom about an inch and a half up. Is it still a "buy it buy it buy it"?

So...did you buy it or is it still available?
