 Today, July 12th is a sad day for all monster fans, and especially Wolfman fans. On this day in 1973, Lon Chaney Jr. passed away.

My mom says I was three when this happened (a little too young to remember).  When she heard she pulled out her Famous Monsters of Filmland magazines and looked at the ones with Lon Chaney Jr. with me.

I love him so much. I think he was a great actor, and it's annoying people keep saying he was really limited and nothing like his dad. Well he isn't his dad, so he's not going to be exactly the same, is he? Really cute too, but his alcohol problem ruined his looks.
