The entire Evil Dead triology!! Necronomicon, ghouls, possession--comedy, a guy who kicks butt with a chainsaw for a hand, my kind of flick lol.

Gotta give a head nod to Hellraiser...1 word: Cenobites!

I don't know if you'll consider this or not, but being there were "demonic words spoken" and ficticious heavy metal album played backwards I gotta give a vote to "The Gate"--great, fun movie--and I never tire of it (thanks Creeper!)

The only currently available print of Horror Hotel is a $1 double feature that looks like hell.  Someone needs to restore it and title it with it's alternative name, The City of the Dead.

BOBBY-- THAT'S NOT TRUE AT ALL!!! "CITY OF THE DEAD" RECEIVED A WONDERFUL RESTORATION BACK IN EARLY 2005 by, of all people, VCI (!). They apparently did one right thing in their life. It has feature-length Lee commentary that is quite good, a 45 minute interview with Lee and Venetia Stevenson, and a sparkling picture that is a thing of beauty. And it is the British version and contains the proper title sequence.

It is still widely available:

http://www.amazon.com/City-Dead-Patricia-Jessel/dp/B00005NKTH/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1276150021&sr=1-1

You won't see a better classic British horror DVD for the money this year.

Best,

Matt
