A great actor, totally committed to his craft.

Paul cut a mean wolfman! I never tire of viewing The Werewolf vs The Vampire Woman! He will be missed.

That's one of my favorites along with Curse of the Devil.

One of my favourites too :-) My top ten Paul Naschy movies:

1. La Noche de Walpurgis (The werewolf Vs Vampire Woman)
2. La Marca del Hombre Lobo (In US I think that was titled "Frankenstein's Bloody Terror)
3. El Jorobado de la Morgue (The Hunchback of the Morgue)
4. El Retorno del Hombre Lobo (Night of the Werewolf/The Craving)
5. Inquisición (Inquisition)
6. La Rebelión de las Muertas (Vengeance of the Zombies)
7. El Espanto surge de la tumba (Horror rises from the tomb)
8. El Carnaval de las Bestias (The Beast's carnival)
9. La Bestia y la espada Magica (The Beast and the Magic sword)
10. El retorno de Walpurgis (Curse of the Devil)

But is difficult choose only 10, because he had other much cult titles.

He was very happy with "El retorno del Hombre Lobo" (Night Of the werewolf/The Craving), He often talked much about this movies in interviews. He have toons of cult movies, and he was working until the last moments.

I remember how when I interviewed Forry, even he was amazed at just how prolific he was. He did two American shows I was aware of, Monster rally (around 2000) and a Chiller. I feel lucky I got a nice autographed photo. He had some interesting stories about the challenges to make films under the Franco regime.

I am very sad.  :-[   I met Paul Naschy at Fangoria's Weekend of Horrors 2007 in Califorinia. He autographed so much stuff of mine, and he was super friendly, courteous, and funny(made several jokes). His translator said that, he was appreciative and loved all his fans.  Mr. Naschy told many stories of his films, and how much he was a huge Universal fan. He will be missed.
