Ok group,  I think it's from the 70's, made of hard plastic, about 4 1/2" tall and says made in Hong Kong on the back.  Anyone know the maker of this?

Wow!  I haven't a clue, never seen it before.  It looks cool but looks like they forgot to paint the cobra's face!
Long live the UMA!

I don't know, but he has the same pose as a Ben Cooper Mummy jiggler. I like him!

Looks familiar. There are absolutely no other markings, only Hong Kong? I think it may be a Ben Cooper or Vics product? that's if they produced hard plastic items? There are some vintage Ben Cooper gallery/catalogs online, if that helps any.

I've got some vintage Ben Cooper catalogs, but that is not in them.  I've never seen anything like it before.  Clearly, it is based on the Ben Cooper Mummy jiggler.  I have two different sculpts on that jiggler.  It was available in many colors, but I think the original was green.  I've never seen a plastic one before.  Perhaps it escaped from the mythical isle of Mexican bootleg toys.

All I can see is the Hong Kong marking.  lol, I've had it for probably 30 - 35 years and don't ever remember seeing one.  I actually was checking to see if I had the AHI Mummy Bendie.

I know I shouldn't  ask this, but can a Jiggler harden?

I don't think this is a hardened jiggler.  The detail in the face stands out differently than any I've seen.  My best guess is that this is a knock off item, probably from a carnival supply-type bin toy origin.  We lived close to one of these stores when I was a kid, and I saw a lot of toys that were originally produced in jiggily rubber later cranked out as bin toys and party favors in plastic after the 70's oil embargo.  I never saw any monsters like this, but a lot of animals, insects, and other creatures.

Just call him a mystery. Wherever your Mummy came from, he looks very cool. ;D

I may have picked it up at the County fair.  I remember they used to have the monsters hanging off of sticks  (dowel rods?).  All I know is I picked it up as a kid, but don't remember where.

That could substantiate the theory of it being a carnival supply knock-off toy.
