Just a quick reminder, the latest Time Tunnel Toys show at the Portage Theater in Chicago is this coming Saturday, July 25th. Films being shown are The Deadly Mantis, Monster on Campus, and Curse of the Werewolf! I can't wait! Who else here is going? I'd like us all to meet up if possible.  :)

Just got in from the show!  Another cool evening shared with fellow monster fans, horror movies, and all sorts of stuff that makes a monster fan's heart smile!  :)

What I love most about these shows is how there are so many friendly fellow monster fans, all of whom are out to share a fun evening of horror entertainment. Lots of cool conversations were struck up tonight, met a bunch of new monster fans, and scored a great deal on an issue of Deadly Hands of Kung Fu. The dealers here are so friendly and awesome to deal with. It's not all about greed like I've seen at some of the larger shows. The dealers seem to just want people to have a good time, and making money is secondary to that. It really is a family atmosphere, and I saw several fathers there with their sons, passing the torch. So cool!  :)

Next month's line-up is going to be another great mix of favorites. I'll post the flier and some of the pics I took in a bit. But yes, another great evening of monster entertainment, and all for just $9. That came out to less than $1.50 an hour! Still the best thing in town!

Here are some shots of the show from tonight. Most of them were taken late, when most people had left. Even then, there were at least 50 people still there for the last movie. Seemed like a nice turn out.

GREAT PICS!!Thanks for sharing...i'm sure being surrounded by all that cool stuff only added to the atmosphere of such a fun event. Wish i lived closer!

Definitely! The atmosphere is what's so cool about it. Everyone there is really there because they love monsters. It's quite a fun event! Yeah, I wish more UMA members lived close by. It'd be cool to meet more of you there!  :)
