The former RKO contract actress best known for her work in CAT PEOPLE, CURSE OF THE CAT PEOPLE and ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN has passed away at 90.

She always had a brassy sexiness to her roles. R.I.P. Jane!

I recently watched Railroaded, a pretty good little noir that she appeared in.

I was surprised to find out she had such a short career (1941-1948). And "A&C Meet Frankenstein" her last movie.

This is sad. I hope she had a comfortable life and passing.  She lived a long time.

Methinks it worth pointing out that she was the last surviving cast member of "Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein".

Short career but long life, she was in some of my favorite films.  RIP.
