Thanks, Steve. I corrected my original post. Don't know why I misspelled his name! :P

This is the most surprising one of the last week.

Incredibly driven fellow, and a hell of a salesman.

IF you've got any trouble gettin' in up there, Billy, I'm sure you can talk them into it! (I'm seeing the Pearly Gates and suddenly hearing 'Billy Mays here...!'). What a character.

Sorry to see you go so soon.

Man, this past week has just sucked.    :'(

His death is closely related to Liam's wife, both died from Head injuries.

I wondered about that too, TG; but an autopsy has revealed a preexisting enlarged heart, which may mean just a horrible coincidence.

Yeah, I saw that tonight on the news, I guess I jumped the gun.
With him hitting his head that hard, and then later told his wife he wasnt feeling good and laid down, and died in his sleep.
At least dying in your sleep is peaceful, not having to be in pain or suffering.
My Father died in his sleep, he passed in 2003 from cancer, If I die, I would rather be sleeping too.

R.I.P. Billy, I'll miss your show, always enjoyed watching it.

Coming from someone who thinks infomercials should be flushed off the face of the Earth, I'll confess that I was impressed by the man's charisma. He clearly enjoyed what he was doing. RIP Billy Mays!

latest word is that it WASN'T the bump on the head.  It was a heart attack, but they won't know for certain until the toxicology tests come back.  TO me (and this is only my opinion) it suggests there may have been some drug use.

I hadn't watched his show "Pitchmen" until today, and it was pretty good.  He had a natural likeability, seemed like a genuinely good guy from what you can see on the show.  He had a little daughter about my daughter's age, and it made me very sad to see that.  I really feel for the kids.
