Anyone heard of Maidens, Monsters, and Madmen by Lee Carvel

 My friend ran across a box of old magazines, and one stood out. He tried to research it, but Google only had two entries about it. Maidens, Monsters, and Madmen by Lee Carvel. The two entries talked about it being an unpublished work, and the other was on Worthpoint with copies being sold by his son. I think it was an early 70s self published mag but Hoping someone here has some info.

It must be the same "Lee Carvel" who was marketing those packaged sets
of monster portraits back in the '80s. There are some up on eBay now.
