I saw it.  Started out really good.  Had the look and feel of the first 2 films.  Then it got muddled.  I guess you'd call them callbacks to all the films in the series, but the scenes and such they copied weren't good in those films, and, as they say, you can't polish a turd.  Trying not to add any spoilers here, but I figured out early on just what would happen to the characters, 2 in particular. 

I really wanted to like it, but by the end of the film I just didn't.  As I said, it has the look and feel, the story started off great, I liked the characters and the actors are good in it.  But the more it went on and tried copying the other films, it just fell apart for me. 

And, this is just a pet peeve of mine, but I really don't like that in all the films they keep going back to the company Weylan Yutani.  They make it sound like they're the only company in the Universe.  Kind of like in the Star Wars galaxy - keep going back to same planets, keep bringing back the same characters. You got a big vast universe out there, how but playing around in it without going back to the tried and true?   Do something new.
