I came across a huge lot of clippings from newspapers, magazines, playbills and various publications from the 30's-60's.  There are some movie ads, a lot of screen star clippings, etc.  I have no idea of value on these, but before I start listing lots on eBay I wanted to give the group a shot at them.  There are so many that it will take me a long time to go through them all, but if you have a particular film star that you may be interested in, drop me a line and I will keep a list as I go, so if I do come across anything, I can send you scans and you can make an offer.  No Lugosi or Karloff, just a couple Chaney, Jr. and looks like very little in the way of monster stuff, but you never know what I will come across in this lot, and I know that some of you are interested in golden age stars other than the usual suspects.  Here's a few examples:

There is a lot of Bing Crosby, Lew Cody, Noel Coward, Jackie Cooper, Rory Calhoun, Harry Carey, Walter Connoly, James Cagney, Tullio Caminati, Maurice Chevalier, Johnny Carson, Chester Conklin (Keystone Kops)...and that is just a sample of the "C" names from the files.  I have more "C" files as well as "A", "B", "D", "E", "F" and "G".

Really neat stuff!  If you have time down the road, would love to see you favorite Cagney piece you have on hand.

Thanks, here's a few of the Cagney clippings:

Bogey

Thankee much!  Appreciated.  Those Private Lives clippings are great.  That bottom sketch of Cagney looks like Ernest Borgnine!  :D

Illoman

If you come across anything with Fred Allen in it, I'd be interested.

Thanks,
Mike
