Saw it at the KY Theater last night. Great turnout, but unfortunately, two groups of people thought it was their job to laugh and guffaw every time the creature was on land, or for some reason, when Whit Bissell was injured and bandaged up. It unfortunately put a damper on an otherwise great experience.

Yeah, the tipsy bunch up front got under my skin a little as well, but nothing was gonna stop me from enjoying myself. Did you get approached by the homeless dude out front of the theatre asking for money to fix his cut up legs? Terrible.

No....I dunno what Chris looks like, and there were about 20 of us, including my elderly parents.

I understand. I usually avoid indoor theaters these days. A drive-in is better, but they're a bit scarce. I have to drive 45 minutes to the nearest drive-in and they seem so authoritarian with their rules about food it's a little hard to put up with. I usually just watch movies at home in peace and dress as I please and eat what I want. Saving money is always good too.
ALWAYS MONSTERING...

Sorry I missed meeting you Anton Phibes. I went with my wife and 16 year-old daughter. We still had a good time, it just rankled my feathers a bit.

Thankfully we missed the homeless guy.

I saw this back in April in 3D at the Music Box theater here in Chicago.  They also played the only Three Stooges shot that is in 3D.  Then, later in the day, they played House Of Wax with Vincent Price in 3D.  It was a very good day.
