Awesomeness. Target released all five of the General Mills monsters in 2012. Hopefully, Yummy Mummy will be produced this year or 2023.

They had a Monster Mash cereal that combined all of them.  I didn't think it was too bad at all.  :)

Last year I able to acquire a few boxes of the Monster Mash cereal from Sam's club....and not pay EBAY prices.😁

Looks like Fruit Brute might be returning... finally!

Well the 2013 cherry flavored version anyway.

Doh!

Many years ago, they had reissued Count Chocula (and probably the others) so I picked up a box to actually eat; it was my favorite of the bunch as a kid. One bite in: bleech!

Not sure if they changed the recipe or it's just that my taste buds have matured, but I tossed the rest of it out. Stupidly, did not keep the box.

I have a ton of cereal boxes... but I really don't eat cereal.  So whoever invented these characters years ago knew what they were doing.  hahaha

Interesting! I still like the Count Chocula as well as all the other sugary cereals I liked as a kid. It is of course very possible that what's produced in Canada differs from that produced in the States.

The monster cereals no longer have the frosted coating on the cereal pieces, and they haven't had that for years. Try getting a box and make monster cereal treats with them (same thing as Rice Krispie treats but using your favorite monster cereal); tastes just like you remember the cereal tasting way back when.

Doh!

It must the the missing frosted coating, then. Thanks for the tip!

Last year's Monster Mash cereal had a fruity flavor.

Frosting is essential on cereals in my book, and on my breakfast table too!
