I was a huge fan of this gals when she heated up the TV on MTV back in the 90's singing "Put A Lid On It" with the Zippers . So she just dropped Bessie Smiths "Haunted House Blues" a 1924 recording about a woman being terrorized by the ghost of a former lover when shes in bed at night... Katharine sounds like a cross between Billie Holiday and Betty Boop, yeah baby...
