Music producer, Phil Spector, dies

 Phil Spector, producer known for his "wall of sound" technique has died at the age of 81.

I prefer a funkier sound with a more pronounced beat for rock music so I'm not a fan of the background string orchestration/wall-of-sound approach for rock music in general. There's no denying however that Phil Spector produced some fabulous music. Here are some tracks that I find particularly noteworthy:
