Here's a Mummy paint by numbers that i painted on an 11"x14" birch art panel.  Tried to stick to the original colors, but it's going to take about 50 years for it to "weather" haha.  I sold it on the Ebay for s's and g's.  It went to a very good monster home.  I'll paint another for myself someday.

Cool! Where did you get the blank/pattern? I'd like to have a Creature pattern.

I'd love to find a creature pattern too!  I have it partially recreated, but I need a very very good quality scan (not picture) of a finished painting to be able to complete it.

I had the mummy pattern from way back, but I think it has surfaced here at some point.

I'd rather have a scan of the unfinished painting.

You just need to find somebody that has one and have him scan it for you!  ;D

They exist. You'd be surprised at how much M.I.B. stuff has been squirrelled away by collectors. Here's the shelf from one of my own cabinets that contains my unused "new old stock" Kenner Presto and Sparkle Paint Sets:

Everything contained in that cabinet is in fact M.I.B. "new old stock".

:)

Cool collection!  If you ever come across one, let me know!  I think there may be a handful out there.  I've searched for many years and have never seen an unpainted creature canvas.  i have close to 200 unpainted PBN's and Venus Paradise sketches.  I open them all haha.  Like I said, I'd settle for a quality scan of a painted creature.  There are several other unpainted PBN's that have eluded me as well and there are ones that i have picked up over the years that Ive never seen again.  I believe the munsters PBN's are as hard to find, if not more hard to find than the UM PBN's.

This is the largest image of the Creature PBN that I've ever seen. Sad.

You know, if you blew that up to 11x14 and printed it, you might be able to paint over it?

Hopefully you're not opening vintage sets that are factory sealed. The Kenner sets in my collection weren't sealed.

Moreover I really hope you're not painting/colouring original canvases when photocopies can be made so easily for colouring purposes.

If I paid what I'd have to pay to get one, I'd want to see and touch every inch of it, inside and out!

I know I posted this here some time back: Below is a copy of the Mummy paint-by-numbers that I found online and cleaned up via Photoshop, as well as my painted version (which was actually done before I found the better template). Did I mention that I love the Kharis Mummy!

I remember that, now! Thanks for re-posting it!

The only problem is, what color is #14 (2, 8, 12, etc.)?  ;D

Hey, I can only do so much  :D. You can probably use either the box or other online pictures to figure out the approximate colors.

Don't say I never did anything for you. Although some of the colors are unmixed and a bit hard to make out, below should offer a basic color key for the kits.
