From what I've recently learned, there is a rights dispute over the film. No, it doesn't involve Universal Pictures or NBC Universal. However, my understanding is that it's very unlikely that the film will get an official re-release anytime in the near future. Considering the effort that went into it, it's sad, even if it's not the "greatest" fan film.

I spoke to director Eben McGarr IN RE: House of the Wolf Man at Mad Monster Party 2019 this past Saturday. There is some movement to get the film re-released, but they are in the very, very early stages. Meanwhile, McGarr hopes his new horror film, Hanukkah (2018), will be picked up for distribution soon.
