In 1995, Jerry Only hired an artist, Tim Mitchell, to create a "Gogos" inspired piece for a live Misfits album but soon after he discovered that he could actually get Basil to create the piece for him.

I have always assumed that the below piece was the attempt by Tim Mitchell to do a Gogos but the original was recently posted by a collector claiming that it was a Gogos piece.

This is the known "Santa Gogos" piece by Basil.

So for Gogos experts out there is there anyway that original piece could be a Gogos?  To my untrained eye, I just can't see it.  There is no fluidity to it, no blending, no technic, no personality.  I also looked up the copyrights for the other work that Gogos did for The Misfits™, the "Santa Gogos" posted above and the album covers for American Psycho and Famous Monsters; all of which have Gogos name attached to the copyrights.  The Famous Misfits of Musicland piece does not include Gogos name, nor does it include Tim Mitchell's

I'm no expert, but it doesn't look like Gogos to me.
