It will be interesting to find out what John says.  I agree with Dan that no one can keep a secret for 80 years, but maybe John had talked and no one really listened until now?

Hey, who knows? I'm no conspiracy theorist - but sometimes, some Truth does take a while to come out.

(Like the fact that, though his final plot was PROBABLY his own, John Wilkes Booth did indeed have contacts/talks with folks connected to the Confedarate government...)

It takes nothing away from Chaney's enduring genius, to say that maybe - maybe! - he was not a 100% one-man band. The rumors I've heard, if I recall right, are that the other big guy at MGM, Cecil Holland, may have been a part of some things?
