Going to continue to repost my threads since photobucket removed years of images unless you pay. This is the original Death Studios Lon Chaney London After Midnight mask. It is around 20 years old and one of the creepiest masks in my collection. The hat was added and not part of the original mask.

Death Studios did a great job on this mask, can't understand why they dropped it.

Maybe something happened with mold after 20 years. However, i am more inclined to believe that it was because he sold the rights to Trick or Treat Studios.

This mask goes back a ways, to the '80s I think. Seeing it so close and clear, you get a sense of how painful a makeup it must've been.

I remember when you bought this thm. It came with the Morris Costumes top hat. Very nice pairing. Great mask! The ToTS version is the Death Studios sculpt same as their Dr. Tongue from Day of the Dead most likely made from foam masters provided by Jeff Death.

Thanks Glenn. Being as old as it is, this mask resides in its own huge plastic case to protect it from any further deterioration. ;D

'Love that mask and here is my photo of a friend who made it come to life at a costume event:

You scored a version with MUCH better eyes than the mask I saw. 'Congrats !

Here's one I took a photo of in October 2015.

Thanks. My mask is the original Death Studios version from 20 years ago. The one you posted is the Trick or Treat version that came out over the last few years.  Trick or Treat's is great, but I prefer the original. ;D
