Was the backstory also that the Green one was begotten from the Brown one?  For some reason I'm remembering something like that...🤔

In the US version, they theorize that Sanda, the brown one, got a piece of flesh torn off and it somehow ended up in the sea, mutated and became Gaira. ;D

Which, if you'll pardon my saying so, means we should be over ran by these things now. Even monsters shed dead skin cells, and they had pretty big bleeding holes in them by the end of the flick, lol. I love monster movies, lol. ;D 8)

Right.  Like when Gaira loses some flesh on the ship—that could've turned into another one.

Some pics of the X Plus War of the Gargantuas figure set. War of the Gargantuas is considered to be one of the greatest Kaiju films ever made. I recently watched it again after only seeing it from my childhood. The film is amazing. Great story and the monsters are awesome. I highly recommend it.

X plus really is off the charts in regards to making crazy accurate Kaiju figures. Every figure they make is a masterpiece and truly represents the character it is meant to be. Also, thanks for the pics compliment. ;D
