Inspired by Jim (Fantamation) Davidson's incredible Talos Stop Motion model, I got my old Talos figure out of hibernation and tried my hand at animating it:

Sorry it's just a link, I'm not sure if I can post the video directly here.

That is super cool Herr Hussmann. Professional looking from start to finish.

Great use of "The Harryhausen Method" of matting the puppet into the background and the use of Herrmann's music! Bravo! More!

I finally figured out how to get the video directly on to my post- My old Talos model was a bit of a problem- it was made with old material and had become quite hard and inflexible, so I put it in the oven at 100 degrees for a half hour or so, then it was more bendable. But in the course of animation, it began to stiffen up gradually again which meant another 30 min session in the oven! My new models are a bit better in  flexibility. The chromakey was also a bit of an issue. The background for the first shot was fluorescent green and at some point the green of the patina was invisible, so I had to "touch up" each frame so it didn't look like he was disintegrating!

The foreground was actually a cutout I made from a paper print of the image in the background and as you can see, it sometimes moved. You could say that Talos steps were so heavy, it shook the surrounding structures!
I'm still tweaking and experimenting with this animation system. I was also able to isolate some of the shrieking grinds of Talos' metal and putting Bernard Herrmann's thundering Talos theme cadence was cake icing I certainly couldn't exclude!

Thanks for the positive feedback  Glenn, Mike and Kidagain!

Love this HH.May I ask which programs are you using for your animation and editing?I've been researching stop motion animation for the last couple of months for a project I want to do.

Thank you HH for posting that video.
That is so cool! You've certainly gotten me in the mood to watch Jason and the Argonauts.
