I can't get enough MANT!  :)

Anybody ever see a garage kit of the MANT?  I don't remember any licensed merchandise of any kind.

I've never seen any type of model kit or toy commemorating the mighty Mant!  I would love to see a really nice Mant poster.

SWEET LORDY!! That's beautiful! Thanks for the look-see! I LOVE the ATOMO-VISION lettering! It's such a cool poster!

I love Matinee. Watched it again a few days ago. I wish Joe Dante would have done a sequel following the adventures of Lawrence Woolsey. Castle did quite a few gimmick driven flicks and I bet Larry did too, in some alternate Monsterkid universe. Maybe "Cursed Castle Of 13 Witches" or "Spine Crawlers From Dimension X".

Funny thing is, MANT was a straight up '50s sci-fi movie and not a Castle type film at all. The Castle gimmicks were added, but other than that . . .

I really dig watching MANT.

I see that the foreign-issued "Matinee" BLU-Ray has the full length "MANT!", a 30-minute making of featurette (or interview) with Joe Dante and a stills gallery.  Not as much as could be hoped for, but better than what existed.

When will Universal license all these cool Blu-Rays for U.S./Canadian audiences?

This was one of the reasons I bought a multi-region blu-ray player, and I really dig the French blu-ray cover art.

reminds me: I think it's excellent how Mr. Castle enhanced the theater experience for his films; how very cool he was for doing that! When watching "Matinee", I really enjoy John Goodman's performance of a character inspired by William Castle, and I think Larry W is a great guy, too! :) No one could have done a better portrayal of Larry than Mr. Goodman!

I love the character Dick Miller plays, too! Strange how the cast for the "MANT" film within the film is not credited on the film's credits! Some big names in there, but I won't spoil them here.
