NEED HELP!!! Trying to Identify Vintage Novelty SHRUNKEN HEAD. If anyone out there is familiar with the Blonde Hair/Black-Faced SHRUNKEN HEAD I would like a little more information. I've never seen this before It appears to be "THE LAND OF THE AMAZON" JIVARO NATIVE SHRUNKEN HEADS BRAND. From the 1960s. If anyone could help me out that maybe has any knowledge or is familiar with this model, please post or let me know. Thanks. Here are photos:

The chevron heads mentioning "The Land of the Amazon" and "Jivaro Native Shrunken Heads" may have been popular souvenirs or novelties in the 1960s created for tourists. If so, they were probably made of rubber or latex and not associated with the true traditions of the Jivaro people. For more accurate information, it is recommended that you consult with experts in vintage collectibles or historians who specialize in such souvenirs.

Those "Chevron heads" labeled with "The Land of the Amazon" and "Jivaro Native Shrunken Heads" were likely 1960s tourist novelties, probably made from rubber or latex. They were more about creating an exotic souvenir than representing any authentic Jivaro traditions. For a deeper dive, reaching out to experts in vintage collectibles or historians focused on mid-century tourism might be your best bet. It's always fascinating to see how these items reflect the era's curiosity about distant cultures—however inaccurate!
