Monster Fest 12 - Chesapeake Va October

The 12th Annual Monster Fest will be on Saturday October 3rd 2015 and again at the Great Bridge Library in Chesterfield Va, not far from Virginia Beach Va. This year will celebrate the 40th's Anniversary of Tidewater Va. legendary TV Host, Dr. Madblood. Other Horror hosts will also attend including local hero, The Bowman Body. Special Guest this year will be Veronica Carlson who will host a Hammer Double Feature at  7:00 pm. The event is free to all, and very family friendly. There will be a costume contests, dealer tables and all things Halloween.  I myself will be running one hour of vintage SciFi cartoons, including some classic Fleischer Supermans, Ub Iwerks and Marvin the Martian shorts.

     A few updates on this year's Monster Fest in Chesapeake Va Veronica Carlson will be one of our headline guests this year. She will be at the daytime part, signing autographs, and after the 5:00 pm break, we reopen at 7:00 pm where she will host a Hammer Double Feature of Dracula Has Risen from the Grave followed by  Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed. Her Panel Interview will be at 1:00 pm
     Other events will include a preview of the new Bowman Body Shock Theater DVDs, Pamela Kinney's new book, Paranormal  Petersburg, and a first Fest Appearance by Richmond Va's Movie Morgue Hosts Dr. Gruesome and Skeeter, Deborah Painter's Panel on Willis O'Brien, and the Costume Contest.

Here's a link to my photos from MonsterFest 2015. Most are from the Dr. Madblood 4oth Anniversary panel and the costume contest. Great time although bad weather conditions nearby caused a few guest to be unable to attend, but it may still have been the biggest crowd yet.
