I was originally just going to post about TV Guide Spotlight TV's Spookiest Halloween Episodes, the dvd features 7 Halloween themed episodes; Bewitched, I Dream of Jeanie, The Jefferson's, Square Pegs, The Facts of Life, Married...With Children, Roseanne, The Cosby Show, News Radio, Mad About You, 3rd Rock From the Sun, Ned and Stacey and That 70's Show.  It is being released through Mill Creek on Sept. 16th.

While looking at that on Amazon I also noted that there will be a Woody Woodpecker & Friends Halloween Favs dvd from Universal Studios on Sept. 2nd.

Mill Creek is also releasing Witches Night Out (which will also feature 7 other various classic cartoons) on Sept. 16th.

And finally Scooby-Doo is featured in yet another new adventure, Frankencreepy which comes out on Aug. 19th.

I wish the TV Guide disc featured more 60's-70's shows and I hope this leads to someone releasing Home Improvements Halloween episodes in a collection.

Picked up the Woody Woodpecker Halloween Favorites along with a regular Woody Woodpecker Favorites dvd; at Wal-Mart if you buy the single dvd it is $9.98 but if you buy the 2 pack it's $12.98.  Saw the Witches Night Out release as well as a bunch of other Halloween/horror movies, just about every end cap in the dvd section was horror related.

I just got the Mill Creek TV Guide disc in the mail and it is pretty cool!  It's the whole bunch of episodes compressed onto one disc, so the compression ratio is pretty high, but I don't mind.  It's an impressive collection of Halloween episodes from DIFFERENT shows from DIFFERENT eras, and I've never seen a compilation disc quite like it.  You can totally indulge in your love of various cheesy lightweight comedy shows, plus you get a little spookiness and some people in silly costumes.  To top it all off, the price is quite reasonable.  I think this disc is a really fun time-waster cheese log.  Recommended.
Beautiful moving, shifting colors!
