This is weird... I thought only the frame-tray versions of the puzzles had the yellow border, and the Jaymar insignia on the image.

But this is clearly a regular puzzle in the 10x14 box. Odd, because my boxed one in this size doesn't look like this. Is this a well-known variant? Or some factory error?

This is strange. I haven't seen this before either. My boxed Jaymars don't have this type of puzzle either.

You got yourself a real oddity there, Matt!

This variation  can be found in this size puzzle for Frankenstein, Wolfman and Dracula...I guess at some point for whatever reason Jaymar  used the tray artwork with these 3 characters in this box size. I have all 3 with both variations with the tray versions being much harder to find. Maybe they were done towards the end of production, who knows.

Those puzzles kill me. Love the blood and needle next to the guy who looks a bit like Larry Talbot with some bad dental work.

Funny! I love the guy trying to silence the woman. I guess he figures the monsters wont notice them, right? His right hand seems to be copping a feel.

Did Jaymar also release the tray puzzles without the title box?
