Wanted to do a Mego styled version of the 2010 Wolfman. I found a head online that was pretty close. It was labeled as a Yeti, but I thought I could make it work as Wolfman.  ;)   I had an extra body laying around (doesn't everyone?) and bought some clothes from Dr. Mego.  I already had some fur on hand for the costume I'm putting together so I cut a swatch from that. All the pieces were ready to go.

I painted the forearms and hands, bottom of the legs and feet. Used spray adhesive and added some of the fur/hair. I also put the base coat of brown on the head.

Did some more painting on the head and attached it to the body. Glued some of the hair to the upper body and put the clothes on.

Finished up the detail work on the head and sealed it. Added a couple rips to the shirt and called this done.

What do you guys think?

Pretty good, although del Toro's Wolfman had a vest in most scenes. I think the hairline came down a bit farther, too. Right about to the eyebrows. But, it does have a serious vintage Mego vibe to it.

The great thing about del Toro's Wolfman was that gaping maw full of fangs!

CTVT toys makes some claw like Monster hands that can be had fairly inexpensively. Used on their Mad Monsters figures. Because the one thing about Del Toro's Wolfman is---he had some huge honking claws. >:D

I was looking for something to use for his claws. May have to do a little upgrade. Thanks.
