As a kid, the episode THE MICE was the one that scared me the most.  More recently, as an adult watching the 4:00 am reruns on a local Detroit station, the episode O.B.I.T. has become a favorite.  Some really impressive noirish camera work in that one.       And I think special attention should be given to the musical score work of Dominic Frontier, (inexplicably dropped after the first season).  His music added considerably to the mood & I think the show suffered (a lot) in the second season after they replaced him.
There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission.
