Apparently, Johnny Depp and Tim Burton don't know about this film, so they could profess their love for it and produce an abominable remake that, at least, would get the original released on DVD.

The remake we are getting sounds no better or worse than anything Depp/Burton might have concocted, though.

I've never seen this but am really looking forward to it.  Hopefully Netflix will get it in shortly.

I first saw this two or three years ago.  I had heard of the movie, but just never watched it.  I found out it was about Texarkana and watched the movie.  I enjoyed it, but what I like the most was when the different locations were being talked about, I kept thinking "I know where that's at."

Got my DVD/BRD combo in yesterday's mail. No idea when I'll get the chance to watch it, though.
