I agree with you 100% that Rick Baker's work is superb, but Basil Gogos is the man, and those stamps were killer!

Basil Gogos did the prototypes for the USPS Universal Monsters stamps but the post office went with Thomas Blackshear their in house artist for the publicly released stamps and merchandise.

Rick Baker you continue to amaze with your considerable talent. Thank you and keep 'em coming! I am a fan and congratulations on the walk of fame!

I think we should all write the USPS, and see if they would release a new set of Universal Monsters stamps, and have Rick Baker do the artwork!

Between these paintings and his covers for FMOF, I'm envisioning Rick Baker Movie Monster Trading Cards! C'mon, that NEEDS to happen. I'd contribute to a Kickstarter for that!

Thanks guys,
Yah trading cards is a good idea, I just need to paint about twenty more paintings. Which by the way I am planning on doing. I have many more of the classic monsters that inspired me  to do still. Can't wait to get the chance to paint them.
Glad that you guys like them.
Yes Gogos is the man. I agree Daniel Horne is great too. I was honored to have my paintings in the shame show as him.

it is beautiful and inspires me to work harder on my own paintings, thanks for all the great work

I love the Lugosi.  My love for it is beyond words.

Trading cards would be great!  And, I second the idea that we needs another USPS stamp release.
