Anyone collect the Madballs? They were like squishy monster head toys in the mid 1980s. I had a bunch of them as a young boy back then.

I not only had the Madballs balls, but the action figures! They had golfball-sized squishy-heads that fit down over spring-loaded neck posts, and could be launched into the air by pressing a button on their back. Those things were awesome! I guess I sold them all when I moved from NJ in 1999.

I liked some of the Madball designs. Had some wrapping paper with a nice "Madball grid", but only had one or two of the actual pieces.

I never had the action figures but also had the bank along with the heads. I too moved from NJ nice place beautiful state something many don't realize, but way too expensive.

I thought they were cool, but I never had any.

I like them, but I've never bought any.  I like them more now than I did 20 years ago.  The originals are harder to find than you might expect, and pricey.  At least on cards, which is how I'd want them.

After my time but still super cool!

I've got the touchdown terror somewhere, used to have a couple of the smaller balls as well. They are definitely pretty cool. Coolest football I could've had as a kid. The only thing that sucked about it was the bullet point that was hard as hell. It would kill your chest on a bullet pass.

Wow I never knew about the Madballs Halloween Masks! Never seen them in store back in the day. Thank you for posting

I liked them, and was tempted by the figures, but I don't think I every actually owned one! I ended up with several of the many cheapo knock-offs that came out around the same time. Usually blow-molded, hollow balls.

I had Screemin' Meemie ( the baseball one ) both the regular Madball and the Head Poppin' action figure. I also had Touchdown Terror and the cartoon on tape.
Fun fact: Touchdown Terror appears on the back of the box for My Football Monster, part of the My Pet Monster line. Probably why I bought TDT in the first place. Just to go with my football monster. Both lines were made by Amtoy.

Also in the house  we moved into I found issue one of the Madballs comic book. They are created when a bunch of rubber balls fall into some toxic waste. The villain is some kind of mad scientist type dude. It's kind of dumb but I'm kind of glad I have it for nostalgia's sake.

ever since I noticed this thread, I have been tearing my house apart, trying to find my collection of these . . but I cannot find them. its very
frustrating :(
anyways. I do have some of these. I found them brand new in package at an antique store somewhere in the midwest, and
all i really remember is that they were dirt cheap and brand new still on the cards, so i bought em up.
i hope i come across them, as im in the middle of this next "move" .
it makes me mad when i know i have something, but have no idea where its at . Grrrrrr :/
