There have been several interesting films based on the comics of Alan Moore over the last decade. Some have been received well, while others have not, however, in any case they are usually interesting either visually or storywise. These films include FROM HELL(2001), THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN(2003), CONSTANTINE(2005), V IS FOR VENDETTA(2006) and WATCHMEN(2010).

Personally, my favorites are FROM HELL, VENDETTA and WATCHMEN. LEAGUE could have been done better and CONSTANTINE suffered from the curse of Keanu Reeves. What do you think? Any fans of these films? Do you feel they came off well? Alan Moore himself is not happy(to say the least ) with any of them, but I would disagree.

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

I love V for Vendetta. Watchmen would be my second favorite and the rest are tied, except for League, which I didn't care for at all.

None of them are truly awful films, even "Constantine" and "League" never plunge to the depths of crapitude the way "Van Helsing" did. "From Hell" just seemed too much like "Murder By Decree," probably the best post-Rathbone Sherlock Holmes movie. "V for Vendetta" and "Watchmen" probably are the two best Moore adaptations, to date.
