Small beef with eBay sellers and shipping.

Small vent.  I've received two packages this week that have been both been damaged by the US Postal Service.  My beef is with the sellers, bubble mailers or priority envelopes alone do not stop the postal service from damaging it.

Thank you

I hear you, Brian...and I feel your pain.  It's happened to me before, too.  Contact the seller and let them know that it was damaged due to their insufficient packaging.  It's worth a shot.

Even insurance wouldn't be an issue because it's still up to the shipper to package things appropriately.  Packages will be dumped in withe tons of others packages throughout the delivery process.  When I used to sell stuff on Ebay, people would rave about how well I packaged things.  That, plus I never charged for packaging materials.  I'd reuse boxes and mailers whenever I could.

Good luck Brian.

Recently went through this myself..........ordered a cool little lighter through eBay and it arrived broken. Not in a box but in a little bubble envelope. I did get my money back because they didn't have another in stock to replace it, but aggravating nonetheless.

I did contact the sellers, one discounted for me to keep it, one refunded.   Would have been easier if they just packed it better.  I get to continue the hunt!
