The Lugosi White Zombie color vhs looked pretty good, and it came out years ago. I am sure if the right amount of money were spent iany project they colorized would look fine.

Hmmm...none of the Gothic horror movies.  The black and white work perfectly for those.  Some of the older sci fi movies, I could see being colorized...I love the Harryhausen color versions and there's a Japanese sci fi show called Ultra Q (a prequel sort of series to Ultraman) that's being released in Japan in a few months and has been colorized by the same studio that did the Harryhausen colorizations and it looks amazing.  I NEED to see The Creature trilogy colorized....just need to...Kong would kinda be neat to see in a revised color version but I doubt I'll ever wash the horrible vision of the old color version on vhs that I had as a kid.  The Creature trilogy is the one I'd like to see the most...maybe THEM! or The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms...but I'm content with those staying B/W

I saw some colorized 50s movies at Dollar Tree or Big Lots or something and decided against getting them. I know one of the movies was "Killer Shrews", which just didn't strike me as a movie that cried out for colorizing.......or repeated viewing for that matter.

"THEM" would be cool to see.

I got the colorized "Killer Shrews" plus "The Giant Gila Monster" set at Big Lots.  The reason I got them was the set ALSO contained the original Black & White versions.

Of course the movies are pretty awful, but the DVD quality was really pretty good.

Nope.. B/W for me, Thats how I grew up, Thats how I Remember Them. Color would just add a " newness" to Them.

Completely apart from the Art Ethics debate, which is very personal, the TECHINIQUE of colorization is vastly different than it used to be.

The HOLIDAY INN from a few Christmases ago is beautiful - the best example I've ever seen of the "if you didn't know, you'd think it was shot in color" that I've ever seen.
