 Today is June 16th. And on this day in 1959, the comicbook , and movie / tv hero SUPERMAN died of a gunshot wound. Mr. George Reeves died of a suicide or murder.
Even a man who is pure in heart,and says his prayers by night,may become a wolf, when the wolfbane blooms, and the moon is full and bright, AAHHOOoooo

He was in Gone with the Wind as well. Sad how he met his end....

I liked the '50s Adventures of Superman. The film 'Hollywoodland' features two sides of the story from different perspectives and shows a detective investigating it as well as George Reeves' rise to stardom as Superman and his downfall due to typecasting.
