I find it frightening how people are mentioning some really good movies as worst horror sequels ever. Friday the 13th Part 7, Halloween 3, Elm St 2, Candyman 3, Pumpkinhead 2 (which is superior to the original). Wow! Those are some great movies. I have even warmed up to Seed of Chucky. Here is my list of top ten worst horror sequels ever made:

1. Halloween II (Rob Zombie)
2. Ju-on: The Grudge 2
3. Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation
4. Silent Night, Bloody Night 2
5. Hellraiser: Hellworld
6. Children of the Corn IV: The Gathering
7. Children of the Corn V: Fields of Terror
8. Exorcist II: The Heretic
9. I Still Know What you Did Last Summer
10. Abbott & Costello Meet The Invisible Man
Listen to them. Children of the Night. What music they make!

Halloween III season of the witch.

What, what, what?!?!? HALLOWEEN III: Season of the Witch is a good film, although
to me not a sequel.

I'll call out anybody who lists "Halloween III: Season of the Witch". I really love that movie in all its B-movie goodness. Tom Atkins is a great everyman hero, and the seasonal Halloween atmosphere is great. This was great drive-in fair.

I can't believe that after all these years this film still gets kicked around because it's the "one without Michael Myers in it". Were we all really that cheated that it still stings? John Carpenter's original idea was that they would produce a movie to release every year with the season of Halloween as the theme, which I think would have been fantastic, but because the production company insisted on putting "III" in the title the public rebelled and no other films were made. Instead, they went back to formula.

I can't believe people still can't, 30 years later, accept this as a stand alone film and not a misfit in the Halloween series.

I totally agree. HALLOWEEN  III is a film that movie horrorhounds should definitely watch. That paricular film
has so much going on throughout its production. First of all...... The movie is extremely dark(foreboding) in
every way. One must remember the whole plot is based on the destruction of children, plain and simple.

Conal Cochran is an evil, evil person. Hellbent on exterminating our little ones.  That is what makes this
film disturbing. Forget the 80's cheesyness. I believe everyone should re-watch HALLOWEEN III, and
maybe see more than just a throw away film. >:D
