My condolences RedKing, we've had to put down both our Chows (Soki & Tygur) as well as our cat, Ramses within the past 4 years.  Never a fun thing but can sometimes be a good/humane thing to do for our furry loved ones.

In happier news the puppies are doing great, the girls are loving them and they are doing so-so with potty training....the puppies that is not the girls....although they also did so-so with potty training!

Here's Samantha with Bela~

When Toffee met Boris and Bella~

A little commentary on the names; I had nothing to do with the "Boris & Bela" reference.  My wife came up with both names and of course I am overjoyed to know that my monster ways have affected her so deeply or at the very least embedded so far into her subconscious that she would come up with those names!  Although she has already had people ask her if Bella is named after the girl from Twilight......Grrrr....Argh!!  She

Beautiful pictures ZH! You are lucky to live in a house full of fun! :)   All the youngsters (puppies and humans) are adorable! And that is one fancy looking cat you have there as well.

If the gangster you refer to is Jabba the Hutt then yes she is very gangster!

This is actually a very flattering shot of her, her body is much bigger and her head is much smaller than it appears in this picture...LOL!

Not sure if I shared the below image of her before?  The whole reason we got Toffee some 10 years ago was my wife was so jealous of my cat, Ramses, who was always up my butt and kept her awake at night with his purring as he lay by my side/head.  Well wouldn't you know it she got a cat that want's little to nothing to do with humans.  She very rarely comes out and it seems like you are inconveniencing her most of the time when you try to pet her.  Also she likes to lick when she enjoys your petting, which of course my wife can't stand the feel of a cat's tongue so she usually points Toffee's head at my arm. I found it very humorous around Halloween when she chose my skeleton as her human companion.  I can just imagine her thinking, "This guy is the perfect companion, he just sits there letting me use his lap and he feels no need to touch me with his dirty-human hands."

Toffee is awesome!! Thanks ZH- that furry face made my day!  I also have an antisocial cat that lets you pet him 5 or 6 times before he starts the uncomfortable hand licking-ewww.   And I love the skeleton picture   :)

Therin of Andor

My Jack Russell terrier, Jack, was suffering "non-infectious mild meningitis", but then I realized he probably just needed a battery change!

Are you kidding me Therin??  Hahahaha!!  That is hilarious :)  He has a little battery compartment like an Imaginext toy!  Sooooo cute- I'm gonna check my cat to see if he has any cute accessory patterns, but I don't think he would let me hold him in that position .......ever!  Awesome pictures!

He had to have the square of fur shaved for a lumbar puncture, and tummy shaved for ultrasound - but because he's on cortisone tablets for the meningitis, the fur refuses to grow back. It's been about three months of treatment in total. Almost completed the course now, thank God. It's been very traumatic.

Oh!  Poor little buddy!  :(  What a trooper. I'm sorry to hear about his rough go of it, Therin. He is lucky to have a caring human friend like you. And you are a trooper as well, I can't imagine going through such a trauma with my furry friend. Well, no wonder he trusts you to replace his batteries!  :) He'll be forever in my heart now!
