I'm just about ready to start restoring some of my old  Aurora monster models.  I've  had these since I was a kid back in the early 60's. They've been with me all of these years and they are in reasonably good shape, but there are a few small pieces missing: some beakers and such on the Bride, the critter panel that goes behind the cages on the Witch, some trees on Kong, etc.  My question is, would it be better to search for these replacement parts or make them myself.  I've wondered if the Polar Lights kit parts would work as replacements for the Aurora...are they from the same molds?  Any thoughts or info would be appreciated.

That's also available at the Monster Scenes sites.

I visited the parts pit and seemed like it's not all that current, as most of what I clicked on are out of date items, but won't give up. As I still need a Doctor Deadly back of head for my original kit
