While searching for an old Universal Monsters book I had (please see my post in the Memorabilia section), I came across a blog post and photos of these officially licensed Universal Monster stickers from the 80s.
I have never seen these before. While the artwork is kind of crude, it reminds me a bit of the classic Mark Savee Monster coloring book, with a spalsh of Manga influence.

You guys have probably seen them before, but they are new to me! I found them here: http://secretfunspot.blogspot.com/2014/07/my-school-book-club-and-book-fair.html (http://secretfunspot.blogspot.com/2014/07/my-school-book-club-and-book-fair.html)
They're new to me. VERY nice. Thanks so much for sharing with us here.
I see one or more of them on eBay, every now and then.

Those actually look quite nice to me. In any event I've seen far worse licensed Universal monster items.
:-\
Those are my old pics. They didnt come from ebay.
They also were sold individually in vending machines.

Oh! Well, that was the only mention of eBay, so that was all I had to go on.
These look cool.

Sorry, I had no idea the pics were "pilfered" without credit.
I like the artwork too. And yes, there's been far worse!
I dont mind that it was used. Just shocked to see my old computer desk😁
I have the window card for the gumball version. Ill try to dig it out or find a pic. Big creature inmage front and center.
Those puffy stickers are very cool...and I love the artwork. Gotta search these out. The box too!

I've been hunting for this display for decades with zero luck. Have you ever seen it in person, Dr. T?
Also, kudos on the vending card, that too is VERY difficult to find in my experience.
Wow, that box is sweet. I love the inclusion of Tarantula on these stickers. If only we got a Leo G. Carroll mutated sticker!
Very cool. Need to put that on my "I really want" list!
That display box is very sweet! I can't find any hint of these anywhere.
Found a print out I made from the one and only Ebay auction Ive ever seen. Had to be at least 10 years ago. I have the file on a hard drive Ill try to upload.. Maybe someone can clean it up.

It was longer ago than that, believe it or not! I'll have to open a different drive to find the info, but I've got it somewhere.
I have long longed to know who the illustrator was. Fun that you were into it enough to print it out.

Cool! Thanks for the pic! :) Was the image that you made the print from a photo, or a scan?

As a ten year old I would certainly have dared to collect them all! By the time I was fifteen I would have been far too timid. By about the age of 27 my boldness had returned.
;)
I had these stickers when I was a little kid. It was my first exposure to Tarantula before I came across the purple Crestwood House book in my elementary school library. I had a sticker collection in a sticker book. I stuck these in there. I wish I still had that book because I had a lot of really cool stickers.
The early 80s seem to be the last time companies didnt have to follow a strict style guide and was a but crude. I miss stuff like this. Wish the Super 7 stickers were more like this.
