Transworld - 2021
Have a look around: https://youtu.be/D5koIw-1A9Y
Lots of mask paint variations!
Traffic seemed a little light.
TransWorld is usually packed with people .
Because now they charge. Too many people showing up - stealing ideas and not buying anything...
Bummer that no one was displaying the Creature Walks Among Us mask, or the Mole People mask.

Halloween - Monster Garland, 6 ft. - Home Goods - 2021
Home Goods https://youtu.be/D2RHFi_j0zY?t=104
Still early for the major stores to be full of Halloween junk, yet.
I can't help but notice how much Disney product there is on shelves. Not just Rickey Rat nonsense, but tons of Nightmare Before Christmas toys and decorations. Man, Disney promotes their stuff for every holiday.
Come on, Universal... Where are your classic monsters? Other people do plenty generic Mummies, Vampires, Green Monsters. Why can't you take advantage of the holiday to push licensed Universal monsters?
Disappointing.

Disney has been pimping Nightmare Before Christmas for quite awhile now but more recently Hocus Pocus and Haunted Mansion stuff has appeared on Halloween shelves.
I am glad to see Disney finally giving the Mansion some attention. It should have been a Halloween staple long before Nightmare Before Christmas, which is a movie about... Christmas, not Halloween. Zombie Nuetral

Definitely a Christmas movie but the characters are much more suitable for Halloween consumerism and the characters themselves are much more comfortable with their own holiday over Jack's misplaced enthusiasm for Christmas.
I agree. And so long as we are getting Mansion merchandise now, it doesn't bother me like it used to.

Picked this guy up at Walmart
(https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/etkAAOSwjBhhFSwF/s-l300.jpg)
Found these at a nearby Lowe's this weekend. The Nightmare Before Christmas lighted blow-molds were $19.99. The Haunted Mansion projector was $14.99. I was kind of stunned they were that cheap, considering the Disney license usually jacks the prices.

My sister would love those blow molds. She collects Nightmare Before Christmas stuff. I'll have to keep an eye out for those.
^Apparently they are becoming hard to find, with lots of folks (scalpers, probably) gobbling up multiples when they find them. I think our store must have just put them out, as there was a whole rack full of them.

Found Oogie and the HM yesterday as well. The wife commented on the price being cheap as well.
Had to drive 50 minutes to get the Haunted Mansion projector. No stores near me stocked it.

I'm sure the projectors will show- up on eBAY for an astronomical price.

That's what I figured, so I took the drive. It was pleasant. No traffic. :D
There was a Hocus Pocus projector at a nearby Walmart last year. My wife wanted it, but passed on it. We never saw it again. the licensed ones tend to go very quickly.

Yep, I planned on picking up the Friday the 13th and Scooby-Doo versions last year, figured I'd have time but they were both there on day and then gone the next.
Reporting my findings:
Target has these pineapple skulls for $10 (I know, not for everyone, but goes with my spooky tiki theme), and I also saw this kids anatomy costume, which reminds me of the old Collegeville/Ben Cooper Visible Man costume.

Dollar Tree has these 60" GID paper skeletons, and in the toy aisle these zombie brick sets and these Grow Monsters (are these old gumball charms?)
I dig the costume.
Not my pic (found it on Twitter) but got a few Universal Monsters plastic cups at Spirit Halloween. They had a lot of other styles too (Halloween, Beetlejuice, Nightmare Before Christmas, Trick r Treat, Disney's Haunted Mansion, etc). They were $2.99 for anyone interested.

Btw, is there a good way to post pictures from your computer? I've only figured out how to insert online pictures. If there is, feel free to seed me a message!
I saw a large inflatable "Wolfman" (not officially licensed) at Spirit Halloween: https://www.spirithalloween.com/product/8-ft-light-up-wolfman-inflatable-decorations/225964.uts?Extid=sf_froogle&utm_content=HALLOWEEN%20DECORATIONS&utm_term=SDI&scid=scplp01547462&utm_source=google&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign=sc_shopping_brand&utm_inex=e&gclid=CjwKCAjwzOqKBhAWEiwArQGwaBeAt8S734zFrOuVO4kroEy1ypOCOJOHqdi2CEgFgwoUXPcWCHEXFhoCxTQQAvD_BwE (https://www.spirithalloween.com/product/8-ft-light-up-wolfman-inflatable-decorations/225964.uts?Extid=sf_froogle&utm_content=HALLOWEEN%20DECORATIONS&utm_term=SDI&scid=scplp01547462&utm_source=google&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign=sc_shopping_brand&utm_inex=e&gclid=CjwKCAjwzOqKBhAWEiwArQGwaBeAt8S734zFrOuVO4kroEy1ypOCOJOHqdi2CEgFgwoUXPcWCHEXFhoCxTQQAvD_BwE)
I also saw a decorative bust of the "Bride of Frankenstein" (again, not officially licensed) at Michael's: https://www.michaels.com/13.7in-led-monster-bride-bust-tabletop-accent-by-ashland/10662277.html (https://www.michaels.com/13.7in-led-monster-bride-bust-tabletop-accent-by-ashland/10662277.html)

Not directly from your PC to the UMA. You have to go thru that intermediate step of posting to your own image host and linking from there.
This little guy is brand new:

That's right campers, someone has made a new mold and these are currently on sale as a Halloween item. I pictured him here with two of his older, 7" brothers for comparison.
Can't make to Chicago? eBay seller tunataim sold me mine. Check his listings https://tinyurl.com/3nzhxenm for any future offerings.
This Wolfman doll exclusive to Spirit Halloween is cute. It howls and plays the library music from NOTLD/Attack of the Killer Shrews/Hideous Sun demon in the background when you push his belly.

That will be WAY easier to find than any Killer Klowns from Outer Space or Haunted Mansion merch and props.

Unfortunately nothing here.
Walmart is carrying these large, 36" Nightmare Before Christmas blow molds, but they have been very difficult to find. Searched several Walmarts while on vacation through TN, NC, and SC last week, and ended up finding them here in KY just about a half hour away from me! Scalpers are hitting these hard too, apparently. In addition to standard Jack and Jack-as-Pumpkin King, there is a Sally, which I haven't found yet. $40 for a large blow mold like this is a pretty nice price!

I've seen two Jack and one Sally blowmolds at Walmart, a few days ago. I'm sure they are gone by now. I found one Halloween II/Michael Myers greeter that I was looking for. Those are on Scalpers' radar.
